Dr. Sai Babu Jonnada is a qualified Consultant Clinical Oncologist from the United Kingdom. He has served as a Consultant Oncologist in both the UK and the UAE, accumulating extensive experience in the treatment of various cancer types. With 16 years of professional experience as a physician, Dr. Sai moved to the UK to pursue his postgraduate training following his graduation. He received training at several esteemed hospitals in southwest England and Wales, including those in Oxford and Cardiff. During his specialty training in oncology, he was affiliated with Belfast City Hospital (Queen’s University) in Northern Ireland. Currently practicing as a Medical Oncologist, Dr. Sai is also trained as a Clinical Oncologist, which equips him with the dual expertise of both Medical and Radiation Oncology. This comprehensive background enables him to make informed treatment decisions for his patients, adopting a holistic approach. He possesses significant experience in all chemotherapy modalities, with particular interests in immunotherapy and biological therapies, which have demonstrated improved outcomes and reduced side effects compared to traditional chemotherapy. Additionally, he is well-versed in advanced radiotherapy techniques, including Intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT), volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT), RapidArc®, and TomoTherapy®.
