Dr. Sonia Otsmane is a highly experienced Consultant in Medical Oncology. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree in 1994 and completed her postgraduate training in Medical Oncology and Hematology in 2004 at the Pierre & Marie Curie Oncology Institute in France. Dr. Otsmane is an active member of both ESMO and ASCO. Prior to joining Burjeel, she served as a Medical Oncologist-Hematologist at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and SSMC (affiliated with Mayo Clinic) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. With nearly 20 years of experience, Dr. Otsmane specializes in managing a wide range of cancers, including genitourinary malignancies, sarcomas, lung cancer, head and neck cancers, lymphomas, chronic myeloid leukemia, and multiple myeloma. She has a particular interest in breast cancer and innovative research in cancer treatments. Dr. Otsmane has presented at numerous national and international conferences, published extensively, and is a frequent speaker at international expert oncology meetings.
