
Dr. Dima Ibrahim
Consultant in Infectious Diseases
Dr. Dima Ibrahim is a Transplant Infectious Diseases Specialist. She completed her internal medicine and infectious diseases specialization at the American University of Beirut. After which, she completed a transplant infectious diseases fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, NC, USA. Currently, she is based in Abu Dhabi and works at Burjeel Medical City. She is the Chairperson of Infection Control, covering outpatient and inpatient infectious diseases and consulting for transplant and non-transplant populations. She is the principal investigator for many ongoing COVID-19 vaccination and prophylaxis trials. She is the author of several articles published in indexed journals. Her research interest is mainly in the treatment of infections in transplant population, especially CMV and fungal infections.
