Dr. Jonathan Wasserberg is a Consultant Neurosurgeon with 30 years of experience. He obtained his BSc in Anatomy and Embryology in 1983 and graduated from the University of Cambridge, MB BChir (Cantab) in 1986. He has an FRCS in Surgical Neurology from England in 1990 and also pursued an MSc in Healthcare Leadership and Management.  He also gained the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Neurosurgical Training in 1997. Dr. Jonathan has worked in many reputable private and government institutions in both the UK and UAE. Prior to joining Burjeel, he was a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Mediclinic Abu Dhabi Adjunct Professor of Neurosurgery in the UAE. His areas of interest are spinal surgery, including cervical and lumbar intervertebral disc disorders, spinal stenosis, metastatic vertebral tumors, and spinal cord tumors. He is also proficient in Neurotrauma, including both cranial and spinal cord injury. He has published over 25 peer-reviewed papers including a large international trial on head injury care.
